TAMPA, FL, Jan 12, 2009 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Bon Idziak, President of Applicant Insight, Inc. has been elected to the Board of Directors of the HR-XML Consortium. The HR-XML Consortium is the only volunteer-led, non-profit, community-driven standards organization for Human Resources.
An early pioneer of HR-XML standards, Bon has been a contributing member of the Consortium since its inception in 1999. As a member of the team responsible for the proposal to create the Background Checking Specification and an early implementer of the standard, he is a proven advocate of the Consortium and its efforts. Bon offers subject matter expertise to the Consortium and its members relative to the business processes and legislative matters that affect the integration efforts of peer HR organizations. He was a key contributing member, speaker and sponsor of the inaugural Global Partnering and Integration Summit 2007 and the Global Partnering and Integration Summit 2008, serving on the Board of Advisors in 2007 and as Co-Chair of the 2008 Summit.
Bon is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, American Society for Industrial Security, Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association, Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association, Securities and Insurance Licensing Association, and the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). He is an active participant and contributor to the NAPBS Government Affairs Committee.
Bon regularly consults with major national employers and associations to develop employment screening solutions that are cost-effective, compliant, and address corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
