68% PREDICT NORMAL HIRING WILL RETURN BY Q3
New 2009 Survey Results Prove Hiring Freeze is Not as Fierce as Believed
Chicago, IL (February 11th, 2009)-TalentDrive, the creator of the SaaS recruitment technology, TalentFilterSM, just today released the results from the recent “Time to Upgrade Your B Talent to the A Talent” January 2009 survey. The surprisingly optimistic results affirm that 46% of surveyed companies are NOT in a hiring freeze. The survey went on to announce that 68% of participants anticipate normal hiring to return by Q3 of this year. However, when asked if new technology was being employed to assist with sourcing, 66% responded no.
Over 8,000 F1000 Companies, Staffing Firms, and Recruiters were surveyed. This survey was conducted between January 16th, 2009 and February 6th, 2009.
In summary, the survey found these key points:
- 68% predict hiring will return by 3rd Quarter 2009
- 46% of those surveyed claimed NOT to be in a hiring freeze
- 66% feel they are prepared with the appropriate infrastructure to upgrade the B Talent to the A Talent
- 66% are not employing new technology to help assist with sourcing
