IDC MarketScape Shows Worldwide Social Technology for Integrated Talent Management Market Is Experiencing Rapid Change Due to Acquisitions and New Product Releases

This new research indicates that the landscape may look quite different in 2013 as a number of vendors have made recent acquisitions or new product introductions with plans for rolling out new capabilities in social learning, workforce network analysis, and collaboration. These providers were evaluated using detailed criteria that IDC identified as key factors contributing to vendor success in the social technology for worldwide integrated talent management market. The vendors included in the analysis are ADP, Cornerstone OnDemand, Halogen Software, Kenexa, Lawson (Infor), Peoplefluent, Saba, SilkRoad, SuccessFactors, SumTotal, and Taleo (Oracle).
The IDC MarketScape methodology placed SuccessFactors in the "Leaders" category this year with Cornerstone OnDemand, Lawson (Infor), Peoplefluent, Saba, SilkRoad, SumTotal and Taleo (Oracle) listed as "Major Players."
