TalentShield is the first résumé verification service integrated with a career management site
Bothell, Wash., July 11, 2011—Today TalentWise, a leading Hiring Process Management (HPM) solutions provider, announces the launch of TalentShield, a résumé verification service that allows job seekers to certify résumés online and promote them to recruiters and potential employers. TalentShield is integrated with Taleo’s Talent Exchange solution, making it the first résumé verification service visible within a career management site.
A recent Harris Interactive survey commissioned by TalentWise found that over half (54%) of respondents say that at least 50% of job seekers misrepresent something on their résumé, and more than a third of respondents believe that misrepresenting information on a résumé can be extremely beneficial for a job seeker. The Harris Interactive survey also found that the majority of Americans (62%) said they would pay for a résumé verification service to give themselves a competitive edge in today’s job market.
