Background Check Turkeys

In honor of my favorite holiday of the year (and the fact that I am a little slap happy today), I give you this year’s Background Check Turkeys:  Those people who thought they could fool us all as well as those who have gotten fooled.  These are my favorites from the past few months. Enjoy!

• OJ Simpson- The Gift that keeps on giving!  OJ’s rap sheet continues to increase.
• Jurors Lie About Criminal Past to Get On The Jury- 3 jurors lied and said that they had never been convicted of criminal activity
• School District Assigns Fake Social Security Numbers to Employees- Evidently ethic will not be offered on this year’s curriculum
• Iranian Minister Impeached for Fake Degree- I shudder to think about the penalty for this transgression
• State of Ohio in Hot Water over Background Checks on “Joe the Plumber”- BTW, isn’t his 15 minutes of fame up?
• Fake Military Honor Claims- GI Joe would not be proud.  Even OJ wouldn’t stoop this low.
• The Whizzinator Goes On Trial- No more cheating on employment substance abuse tests
• Judge Denies Convicted Felon’s Request for Name Change- This guy thought that if he changed his name, his background check would come back clean
• St. Regis University- A diploma mill for the ages!

One final Turkey also goes to the University of Michigan who will lose again to The Ohio State University again this weekend!  Go Bucks!

By the way, did everyone catch the footage of Governor Sarah Palin pardoning a turkey, while another turkey was being slaughtered in the background?  You can’t make this stuff up.
