TMT Introduces Bucky Couch, Managing Director, Americas, for StepStone ASA |

TMT welcomes Bucky Couch, managing director of the Americas for the U.K.-based talent management technology firm StepStone ASA. Responsible for operations within StepStone's U.S., Canadian, and Latin American businesses, Couch exercises specific focus on directing sales and customer success from StepStone Solutions US headquarters in Austin, Texas.
Couch has over 30 years experience in financial, business operations, and customer success executive roles and was twice nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Prior to joining StepStone, Couch was president and founder of the Customer Success Group, a company that helped its clients create competitive advantage through the delivery of superior customer experience. StepStone had previously been a customer of the Customer Success Group, where Couch helped develop Stepstone's Customer Success strategy and functions.
Graduating from The University of Texas in Austin, Couch began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. He joined his first start-up technology company in 1982 and worked with four different software and hardware–related ventures. In 1986, he co-founded the e-recruitment–pioneering firm Hire.com with Hank Stringer, an Austin, Texas–based company acquired by Authoria, Inc. in 2005.
