Mary J. Clarke, TMT Industry Who's Who for 5/22/09

We are pleased to welcome Mary J. Clarke to the TMT Industry Who's Who. With a degree in mathematics, Clarke has served as chief executive of Cognisco since January of 2004. Under her leadership the company has achieved sustained profitability. Clarke has not only expanded the role and reach of Cognisco, but also implemented a new operating model and developed a more customer and market-driven culture. Her knowledge of sales and marketing, together with her experience in software and services organizations, forms the basis of the experience and expertise that helps her to guide Cognisco.

Having worked for a number of technology-focused companies, including start-ups and high-growth businesses, Clarke brings a wealth of business experience to Cognisco. Before joining Cognisco, Clarke spent more than twenty years in the IT and Telecommunications industry. She has held U.K., European and worldwide roles at small, medium and large businesses. She has developed a number of businesses from start-up in the UK and Far-East, served as vice president for Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T Network Systems) and as director of Network Services at Digital Equipment Company Limited.
