Description
The Gabriel Institute is the creator of Role-Based AssessmentTM (RBA), a completely new way to predict how a person will behave when working with others to benefit their group, overcome a challenge, or achieve a common goal.
People are typically selected for their individual characteristics, as represented by past experience, skills, personality tests, and interviews. But with the workplace becoming increasingly dynamic and complex, the ability to 'team well' has become essential to success. By predicting the quality of a person’s behavior on a team, TGI Role-Based Assessment adds highly relevant and valuable information to the selection and placement of team members, including their leaders.
Role-Based Assessment really is new. It is not based on personality traits data, surveys of engagement, interests, ‘strengths’ or aptitudes, or any other familiar tools or methods. It is the product of over 25 years of development and testing, and became generally available late in 2009.RBA is taken via a standard web browser, and the reports are immediately sent to the designated recipient (usually a hiring manager or senior executive). Management-Directed RBA reports are used for hiring, promotion, team development, and related management decision making. Optional RBA Self-Directed Reports are designed to support self-development, and are also valuable in coaching and team-building.
